Practices

To engage with the wood wide web, you need a list of practices that can help you. This page enlists a diversity of practices for mutual learning and knowledge creation through conversation and play with the “more than human”.

If you click on the practice, you get access to free blogposts that can inspire you.

In addition, we have a three year long study circle at the Nordic Summer University (NSU) where we experiment with and discuss practices, often connecting them with theory and possible outcomes.

If you are interested in a study circle (2025-2027) and our gatherings every half year, grounded in the Baltic and Nordic region of Europe, please visit: NSU circle: Learning with the More-than-human

If you need experts and workshop facilitators to advance more‑than‑human urban planning and circular community economies, please contact us.

From Monday January 19th 2026, we are also open to join European funding proposals. The main founder of wood wide web stories has been part of European and Norwegian grant core writing teams, resulting in 3 Horizon Europe projects, 1 European Innovation Council and 1 Norwegian project.
